Bandoora ("we", "our", or "the app") is a band management application built for musicians. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Bandoora, we collect the following information:

• Google Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture through Google Authentication.
• User-Generated Content: Songs, setlists, chord charts, lyrics, and other content you create within the app.
• Chat Messages: Messages you send within band chat channels (General, Music, Pub).
• Display Name (Nick): The nickname you choose to display within your band.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the Bandoora service:

• To authenticate you and manage your account
• To sync your songs, setlists, and band data across devices
• To enable collaboration with your band members
• To display your nickname in the band chat and member list

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud database service provided by Google LLC. Data is stored in the Europe West region (Frankfurt, Germany). Firebase complies with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations.

4. Data Sharing

Your data is shared only within your band:

• Band members can see shared songs, setlists, and chat messages
• Your email address is visible to other band members in the member list
• Your nickname is visible to other band members

Data is not shared with any other third parties.

5. Audio Files

If you attach audio files to songs, these files are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Audio files are opened using third-party applications (such as Music Speed Changer) installed on your device.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• Right of Access: You can request a copy of your data.
• Right to Rectification: You can update your nickname and profile at any time within the app.
• Right to Erasure: You can delete your songs, setlists, and leave or delete your band. To request full account deletion, contact us at bandoora.dev@gmail.com.
• Right to Data Portability: You can export your setlists using the built-in export feature.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your band or leave all bands, your associated data will be removed from our servers. To request complete account deletion, please contact us at bandoora.dev@gmail.com.

8. Children's Privacy

Bandoora is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We take data security seriously. Your data is protected using Firebase's industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and Firebase Security Rules that ensure users can only access data belonging to their own bands.

10. Third-Party Services

Bandoora uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase – Authentication and database (Privacy Policy)
• Google Sign-In – Authentication (Privacy Policy)

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
